Cellular Phones—Need Of Everyone
by Anonymous

Cellular Phones have become indispensable parts of our daily life—in fact we can’t think to live without them (whether we are businessmen or just common men). Millions of people in the United States and around the world use Cellular Phones. They are such great gadgets -- with a cell phone, you can talk to anyone on the planet from just about anywhere.

Probably the most useful thing to know about the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) is that it is an international standard. If you travel in Europe and many other parts of the world, GSM is the only type of cellular service available. Originally, the acronym GSM stood for Groupe Spécial Mobile, a group formed by the Conference of European Posts and Telegraphs (CEPT) in 1982 to research the merits of a European standard for mobile telecommunications. Commercial service using the GSM system did not actually start until 1991. Instead of using analog service, GSM was developed as a digital system using TDMA technology.

Personal Digital Assistant or PDA is a remarkable, tiny, fully functional computer that you can hold in one hand. And unlike that paper organizer, a PDA can hold your downloaded e-mail and play music. PDAs are the one of the fastest selling consumer devices in history. More than 9 million hand-held computers have been sold, the vast majority of them from one company, Palm Computing.

But recently many other companies are also breaking into the market. Competition means that you have more features to choose and decisions to make if you are thinking about buying a PDA. Let’s discuss some more features and available options of Cell Phones.

Samsung Camera Phones

Recently, Samsung Electronics has begun selling a cell phone that includes a 5-megapixel digital camera. The camera was developed in cooperation with Japan's Pentax and its resolution significantly exceeds that available from competing camera phones. Until recently, the highest resolution camera phones had 3-megapixel class image sensors, although that's only on a handful of models. Currently, most phones offer between 300,000 pixels and 2-megapixel resolution at present.

Several other features of the new Samsung Cellular Phone are closer to that of a digital still camera than a conventional cell phone, including the shutter speed, which can be as fast as 1/1000th of a second, according to a Samsung statement.

Global Access Callback (GACB)

Global Access Callback (GACB) is a unique add-on service that has brought a revolutionary new way to save money on both national (domestic) and international (long distance) calls from mobile (cellular) phones. Mobile callback service is available from any country around the world and is the most cost-effective add-on service for frequent Cellular Phone users. All that is required to use this add-on service is an active mobile phone account. This can be either a pre-paid mobile phone card or an ordinary monthly account.
